One hundred live, wild-sourced Euphorbia itremensis were imported by the EU from Madagascar for commercial purposes in 2012. The same number of live, wild-sourced plants were imported from Madagascar in 2011; the only other wild-sourced imports of E. itremensis over the period 2003-2012 were 70 live plants imported in 2005.
